Valmiki Ramayana

The Rāmāyaṇa is the timeless Sanskrit epic composed by Sage Vālmīki, narrating the divine life of Lord Rāma - incarnation of dharma and virtue. It follows His journey from His sacred birth in Ayodhyā to His exile in the forest, the abduction of Mother Sītā by Rāvaṇa, the alliance with the vānaras, the epic war in Laṅkā, and His triumphant return to rule as the ideal king. Blending devotion, heroism, ethics, and cosmic purpose, the Rāmāyaṇa is both a spiritual guide and a poetic celebration of righteousness, love, and the victory of good over evil.
