पार्वत्युवाच:
केनोपायेन लघुना विष्णोर् नाम सहस्रकम्
पठ्यते पण्डितैर् नित्यं श्रोतुम् इच्छाम्यहं प्रभो
pārvatyuvāca:
kenopāyena laghunā viṣṇor nāma sahasrakam
paṭhyate paṇḍitair nityaṃ śrotum icchāmyahaṃ prabho

TRANSLATION
Parvathi said:
I am desirous to know, Oh Lord, how the scholars of this world will chant without fail these thousand names, by a method that is easy and quick.
