वनमाली गदी शार्ङ्गी शङ्खी चक्री च नन्दकी
श्रीमान् नारायणो विष्णुर् वासुदेवो भिरक्षतु
वनमाली गदी शार्ङ्गी शङ्खी चक्री च नन्दकी
श्रीमान् नारायणो विष्णुर् वासुदेवो भिरक्षतु
वनमाली गदी शार्ङ्गी शङ्खी चक्री च नन्दकी
श्रीमान् नारायणो विष्णुर् वासुदेवो भिरक्षतु
श्री वासुदेवोभिरक्षतु ॐ नम इति

vanamālī gadī śārṅgī śaṅkhī cakrī ca nandakī
śrīmān nārāyaṇo viṣṇur vāsudevo bhirakṣatu

SYNONYMS

vanamālī: One who wears the forest garland (Vanamālā) | gadī: One who wields the mace (Gadā) | śārṅgī: One who wields the bow (Śārṅga) | śaṅkhī: One who holds the conch (Śaṅkha) | cakrī: One who holds the discus (Cakra) | ca: and | nandakī: One who holds the sword (Nandaka) | śrīmān: The glorious one, possessed of Śrī (Lakṣmī) | nārāyaṇaḥ: Nārāyaṇa | viṣṇuḥ: Viṣṇu | vāsudevaḥ: Vāsudeva | abhirakṣatu: may He protect | oṃ namaḥ iti: Om, obeisances, thus |

TRANSLATION

Protect us Oh Lord Nārāyaṇa Who wears the forest garland, Who has the mace, conch, sword and the wheel. And who is called Viṣṇu and the Vāsudeva. (Chant this shloka 3 times)
