परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम्
धर्म संस्थापनार्थाय संभवामि युगे युगे
paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṃ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām
dharma saṃsthāpanārthāya saṃbhavāmi yuge yuge
SYNONYMS
paritrāṇāya: for the protection | sādhūnām: of the righteous | vināśāya: for the destruction | ca: and | duṣkṛtām: of the wicked | dharma-saṃsthāpana-arthāya: for the purpose of establishing righteousness | sambhavāmi: I appear | yuge yuge: in age after age |
TRANSLATION
I save the righteous and destroy the wicked, and establish righteousness in every age.
