Śrī Viṣṇu Sahasranāma DHYĀNAM VERSE 7
श्री वैशंपायन उवाच:
श्रुत्वा धर्मानशेषेण पावनानि च सर्वशः
युधिष्ठिरः शान्तनवं पुनरेवाभ्यभ्याषत।
śrī vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca:
śrutvā dharmānaśeṣeṇa pāvanāni ca sarvaśaḥ
yudhiṣṭhiraḥ śāntanavaṃ punarevābhyabhyāṣata|

oṃ: the sacred syllable Om | namaḥ: obeisances | viṣṇave: unto Viṣṇu | prabhaviṣṇave: unto the all-powerful one | śrī vaiśampāyanaḥ uvāca: Śrī Vaiśampāyana said | śrutvā: having heard | dharmān: the principles of righteousness (Dharma) | aśeṣeṇa: completely | pāvanāni: the purifying agents/narratives | ca: and | sarvaśaḥ: in all respects | yudhiṣṭhiraḥ: Yudhiṣṭhira | śāntanavam: unto the son of Śantanu (Bhīṣma) | punaḥ eva: once again | abhyabhāṣata: spoke |
TRANSLATION
Om, Obeisances unto Vishnu, the all-powerful one.
Sri Vaisampayana said:
Having heard the Dharma in its entirety and the holy ones in all respects, Yudhisthira again addressed Shantanu.
