Śrī Viṣṇu Sahasranāma DHYĀNAM VERSE 4
व्यासाय विष्णु रूपाय व्यास रूपाय विष्णवे
नमो वै ब्रह्म निधये वासिष्ठाय नमो नमः
vyāsāya viṣṇu rūpāya vyāsa rūpāya viṣṇave
namo vai brahma nidhaye vāsiṣṭhāya namo namaḥ
SYNONYMS
vyāsāya: unto Vyāsa | viṣṇu-rūpāya: who is the form of Viṣṇu | vyāsa-rūpāya: unto the form of Vyāsa | viṣṇave: who is Viṣṇu | namaḥ: obeisances | vai: indeed | brahma-nidhaye: unto the treasure of Brahman | vāsiṣṭhāya: unto the descendant of Vasiṣṭha | namaḥ namaḥ: obeisances again and again |
TRANSLATION
O Vyasa in the form of Vishnu, O Vishnu in the form of Vyasa, O Vasishta, the treasure of the Brahman, I offer my obeisances unto Thee again and again.
