Śrī Veṅkaṭeśa Suprabhātam PRAPATTIḤ VERSE 5

रेखामयध्वजसुधाकलशातपत्रवज्राङ्कुशाम्बुरुहकल्पकशङ्खचक्रैः ।
भव्यैरलङ्कृततलौ परतत्त्वचिह्नैः
श्रीवेङ्कटेश चरणौ शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥ ५ ॥

rekhāmayadhvajasudhākalaśātapatravajrāṅkuśāmburuhakalpakaśaṅkhacakraiḥ |
bhavyairalaṅkṛtatalau paratattvacihnaiḥ
śrīveṅkaṭeśa caraṇau śaraṇaṃ prapadye || 5 ||

SYNONYMS

rekhā-maya: Composed of lines | dhvaja: flag | sudhā-kalaśa: nectar pot | ātapatra: umbrella | vajra-aṅkuśa-amburuha-kalpaka-śaṅkha-cakraiḥ: with thunderbolt, goad, lotus, wish-fulfilling tree, conch, and discus | bhavyaiḥ alaṅkṛta-talau: Whose soles are adorned with these auspicious (marks) | para-tattva-cihnaiḥ: which are signs of the Supreme Reality | śrī veṅkaṭeśa: O Śrī Veṅkaṭeśa | caraṇau: Your two feet | śaraṇam prapadye: I take refuge |

TRANSLATION

Oh Lord of Veṅkaṭa Giri! The secret that you are the Supreme ruler of all the universes is clearly revealed by the markings seen on the soles of your holy feet. There, we see the lines taking the shapes of umbrella, nectar pot, flag, vajra weapon, goad, lotus flower, conch, disc and kalpaka tree. These symbols adorning your feet offer unmistakable proof that you are the God of Gods. adiyēn offers my Prapatthi at these divine feet.
