Śrī Rāma Rakṣā Stotram
The Śrī Rāma Rakṣā Stotram is a powerful Sanskrit hymn dedicated to Lord Rāma, recited for protection. It was composed by the sage Budha Kauśika, who is said to have received the 38 stanzas from Lord Śiva in a dream. Recitation of this stotram is believed to form a divine, protective shield (kavacha) around the devotee, safeguarding them from harm and bestowing blessings. The hymn systematically invokes Lord Rāma's protection over every part of the body, making it a comprehensive prayer for well-being.
